Sour Cream Scones

Try this fool-proof scone recipe is made with our delicious sour cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Maleny Dairies Sour Cream

  • 1 cup cold water

  • 4 cups self-raising flour

  • Pinch salt and sugar

  • Maleny Dairies Milk to coat

  • Jam of your choice

  • Maleny Dairies Pure Cream

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C. 

  2. In a bowl, combine sour cream, water, flour, and salt using a butter knife.  

  3. Place mix onto a lightly floured surface and kneed together.  

  4. Using a rolling pin, roll out to a thickness of 2cm.  

  5. Cut the scones into circles using a 5cm diameter cutter. 

  6. Place the scones on a lined baking tray and coat with Maleny Dairies milk. 

  7. Bake in the oven for up to 15 minutes.  

  8. Serve with jam and Maleny Dairies cream.
